Sitting pretty within the Pentney Abbey Estate you will truly relax as you drive past the beautiful abbey ruins and head to your cottage. The Abbey itself dates back to the 12th century and sits within a beautiful 35-acre site.
All the rooms in Fig Tree Cottage are on the ground floor, with an open plan living space that contains all the main comforts you would expect. The dining space seats four guests, and the kitchen has an electric oven and hob along with a microwave and fridge.
The first bedroom has a Kingsize bed and the ensuite bathroom includes a shower cubicle and toilet. The second bedroom has two single beds, with a walk-in shower and toilet in the ensuite bathroom.
Fig Tree Cottage is one of three properties on the Estate, enabling larger gatherings of your nearest and dearest (subject to availability).
more...Walnut Cottage, Fig Cottage and The Farmhouse can all be booked together accommodating 18 guests (depending on availability). If Walnut and Fig Cottage are booked together a 10% discount will be taken off the overall price.

The address is Pentney Abbey, Abbey Road, Pentney, PE32 1JT. Upon arrival please head up the driveway and take a left into the carpark. This is where you can leave your car for the duration of your stay. From there please walk up the central driveway and head towards the double garages. You will see the estate office and Farmhouse on your right hand side. Continue walking towards the plant beds and take a left (before the campsite). Walk past the sheds and Fig Tree Cottage is the second cottage on your left hand side.
If you have heavy luggage please continue up the driveway in your vehicle and take the middle drive (the gatehouse will be on your right hand side). Please park outside the ‘preparation room’ and take a left round the corner to your cottage. Once unloaded please could you kindly move your car to the main car park for the duration of your stay.
